So far I’ve been in Barcelona for about two and a half weeks. Wow, let me just say I learned a lot of things about myself already. One thing I did notice about myself and really need to change is that I do not pay attention to whats going on around me. For example, I can walk down a street a million times and not even notice a street name, what stores were on that block, etc. I find myself just following my friends around;without them I would be totally lost. If someone left me in the middle of Barcelona with no money, no cellphone, and cabs and metros did not exist, I would seriously be shit out of luck. I officially make a promise to myself that I will take my head out of the clouds and learn to pay attention to my surroundings. I’ll let everyone know if I finally learn my way around this city in April.
